Stall Holder Health & Safety Agreement

Each stallholder is responsible for setup and pack down of their space before and after the market starts.

Each stallholder is responsible for getting their product to and from the market site in a safe manner.

Parking at Highbury House are off site during the market, space can be found on Hinemoa Street or nearby streets.

Each stallholder is responsible for their stock and managing their site for duration of the market. This includes eliminating any hazards for themselves, other stall holders and the public. i.e. all cords and ropes are secured, all tripping hazards are mitigated etc.

If bringing own gazebo, it is the responsibility of the stallholder to bring weights to attach to a minimum of 2 poles for the duration of the market.

The Highbury House team is responsible for the Health and Safety for the event, this includes stall holders/vendors and the public. Any decision made by management must be strictly adhered to.

Most of our market stall locations don't have access to power. If you require it please let us know. We need to ensure this is done in a safe and compliant manner.

If your stall includes the sale of food, you will be responsible for any health and safety requirements and comply with the NZ Food Safety regulations. Highbury Community House accepts no responsibility. Please do your own research into what the rules are through Ministry of Primary Industry and Auckland City Council.

Management will have signs on site requesting that children are supervised by their caregiver at all times.

There will always be a qualified first aider on site. A first aid kit and AED is on site.
