How to book
HOW TO BOOK

Our rooms are often busy, so we always recommend booking in advance!
To secure your booking, please follow these steps: 

  1. Check to see the room is available on your proposed dates on our calendar (click Step 1 button). 

  2. If your preferred room is available, fill out the Venue Hire Booking Form (click Step 2 button) and send your form to admin@highburyhouse.org.nz

  3. If your preferred room is unavailable on your chosen date, please call us at (09) 480 5279, and we will do our best to accommodate you.

Once we receive your venue hire booking form, we will contact you within 1 business day.

PARKING
There is free parking in our car park. We also have street parking on Hinemoa Street and surrounding roads. Please double-check for any parking time restrictions.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT

For those relying on public transport, the nearest bus stop is near Le Roys Terrace, bus #917. Additionally, the Birkenhead Ferry terminal is a short distance away. When catching the #917 bus from the ferry, the nearest stop is just down the road from Highbury House at the corner of Hinemoa Street and Rugby Road.

DISABILITY ACCESS

Wheelchair and pram access via ramp along the side of the house.
 

CANCELLATION POLICY

All booking cancellations must be received IN WRITING to the Venue Coordinator

No verbal cancellations will be accepted. In the event of a cancellation by the hirer, a percentage of the full booking charges will be forfeited by the hirer as follows:

· No notice given and not appearing on the hire date: 100% of the fee is forfeited.

· 24 hours or less before the hire date: 100% of the fee is forfeited.

· Between 1- 7 working days before the hire date: 50% of the fee is forfeited.

· More than 7 days: you will be refunded 100% of the fee less the 30% booking deposit.

A confirmed booking's event date can be changed to another date at no cost within one month from the original date.

Hire Agreement

All room hires require our Hire Agreement

to be completed and signed prior to the hire period.
