Highbury Community House is a community centre located in Birkenhead on Auckland's beautiful North Shore!
We are open for regular class programming, workshops, events and room hire.

Office hours are 9am to 3pm Monday to Friday but rooms can be hired outside of those hours.
Please come by and say hi!​

Kaipatiki Repair Cafe - Birkenhead
We are delighted to be running another of our popular Repair Cafes on Saturday August 1st from 1pm to 3pm in conjunction with the Onewa Christian Community.​
​
Bring along any damaged or broken items and our friendly team of volunteers would be happy to have a look at them for you at no charge.

FoodTogether
Highbury House is a packing and collection point for FoodTogether, offering a generous selection of fresh fruit and vegetables for just $20 a box!
Produce sourced locally and your purchase helps support your community with leftover food being donated to local charities and food banks.
Place your weekly online orders by 12pm Thursday for Friday pick up at Highbury House between 1pm and 2pm.

Lunch Club
We have a Lunch Club every month for our local seniors. Enjoy a tasty lunch and a talk from one of our guest speakers and take the opportunity to connect with other seniors in the community. Contact admin@highburyhouse.org.nz to register.
We offer a variety of regular weekly classes and groups from knitting, chair pilates to a monthly book club. Throughout the year we also hold one off workshops, events and courses, and new activities are always being added. Check out some of our activities below.

Saturday August 1st - 10am to 12pm Create your own succulent masterpiece with Christine from Living Sculptures. Learn how to care for, propagate and style beautiful succulent arrangements, No experience is required and all materials are included.

Learn how to create your own natural beauty products and discover how easy DIY skincare can be. 6.30pm to 8.30pm August 26th $30 per person

As a follow on from the 1A course we ran in term 2, we are delighted to offer this 1B course to those who want to improve their Sign Language skills. This is an 8 week course starting on Monday August 3rd from 7pm to 9pm.
