Highbury Community House is a community centre located in Birkenhead on Auckland's beautiful North Shore!
We are open for regular class programming, workshops, events and room hire.

Office hours are 9am to 3pm Monday to Friday but rooms can be hired outside of those hours.

FoodTogether
Highbury House is a packing and collection point for FoodTogether, offering a generous selection of fresh fruit and vegetables for just $15 a bag!
Produce sourced locally and your purchase helps support your community with leftover food being donated to local charities and food banks.
Place your weekly online orders by 12pm Thursday for Friday pick up at Highbury House between 1pm and 2pm.

Lunch Club
We have a Lunch Club every month for our local seniors. Enjoy a tasty lunch and a talk from one of our guest speakers and take the opportunity to connect with other seniors in the community. Contact admin@highburyhouse.org.nz to register.
We offer a variety of regular weekly classes and groups from knitting, chair pilates to a monthly book club. Throughout the year we also hold one off workshops, events and courses, and new activities are always being added. Check out some of our activities below.
Our Dumpling Workshop is back On Sunday May 31st from 3.30pm to 5.30pm. Learn how to make delicious dumplings and a tasty dipping sauce in a relaxed and friendly environment. Only $15 per person!
We are delighted to be working with Plunket to bring you this Working with Kids workshop on July 15th. The course will teach the skills required to babysit, coach kids or help with after school care.

Start your sign language journey this May! 8 week beginners sign language course 1A starting Wednesday 6th May. We hope to continue with the 1B course in term 3 so please email us if you would like to register your interest.
