Looking for an outdoor space to host a market day, event?​ We have been able to support these type of community events in the past with either the outdoor carpark area, or a full house hire.

HOW TO BOOK

Our spaces are often busy, so we always recommend booking in advance!
To secure your booking, please follow these steps: 

  1. Check to see the room is available on your proposed dates on our calendar (click Step 1 button). 

  2. If your preferred room is available, fill out the Venue Hire Booking Form (click Step 2 button) and send your form to admin@highburyhouse.org.nz

  3. If your preferred room is unavailable on your chosen date, please call us at (09) 480 5279, and we will do our best to accommodate you.

Once we receive your venue hire booking form, we will contact you within 1 business day.

 


 

PARKING
There is free parking in our car park. We also have street parking on Hinemoa Street and surrounding roads. Please double-check for any parking time restrictions.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT

For those using public transport, the nearest bus stops are located at the corner of XXX. Additionally, a short distance away in the Birkenhead Ferry terminal, it also has a link bus which drops just down the road from us.

DISABILITY ACCESS

Wheelchair and pram access via ramp along the side of the house.
 

CANCELLATION POLICY

All booking cancellations must be received IN WRITING to the Venue Coordinator

No verbal cancellations will be accepted. In the event of a cancellation by the hirer, a percentage of the full booking charges will be forfeited by the hirer as follows:

·       No notice given and not appearing on the hire date: 100% of the fee is forfeited.

·       24 hours or less before the hire date: 100% of the fee is forfeited.

·       Between 1- 7 working days before the hire date: 50% of the fee is forfeited.

·       More than 7 days: you will be refunded 100% of the fee less the 30% booking deposit.

A confirmed booking's event date can be changed to another date at no cost within one month from the original date.

Hire Agreement

All room hires require our Hire Agreement to be completed and signed prior to the hire period. This document includes our Terms & Conditions.
